Don't bring that shyt here .

fukk outta here government outchea giving incentives this is disgusting .

Prices and traffic are already high in the DMV hopefully atl get it.
Then need to build a transit system .

Their mayor and governor are wilding they haven't expanded yet !!!!

The fact that 3 locations of the DC Area are included has me sick... Northern VA is already a disaster traffic wise. Where would they put it in DC? RFK Stadium is owned by the federal government and downtown doesn't have that space... maybe Northeast? No idea.

Montgomery County, MD would be my guess. They're talking about Rockville where White Flint Mall was. That would be equidistant to BWI, DCA, and Dulles.

Bezos also owns the Washington Post. And he bought the old textile museum in Kalorama neighborhood in DC. Its down the street from the Obamas... and the Kushners too.

These Amazon workers making bank gonna make housing even worse cause I'm sure they'll live in the city and do the reverse commute to Rockville :snoop:

At least I live in PG County :hubie:

Nashville is booming in population growth and cost of living. The current residents better hope they don’t get it. I used to live there and recently visited and the city has changed so much and become so congested that it would be a nightmare as far as traffic and home prices.

I avoided the downtown during my last trip it wa such a pain in the ass to get around now. Unless they put it in a surburb or surrounding county.

The same would be for NoVA and MoCO traffic is stupid out here and home prices

:gucci: why? shyt would propel the city growth even more than it is currently. Philly is outgrowing NYC right it's nearest neighbor and adding Amazon will speed this shyt up.
Have young seen the home prices around here? I used to live in West Oak Lane.

Baltimore is a better city for them.

I know but that's the times now breh. It is time for this City to take that next step. On to that subject my old neighborhood has houses going for 500k now compared to 2000 when you can get a property for 20 grand. I wish I had the income then compared to what I have now.

Raleigh is already rapidly growing due to tech jobs in RTP, and I don't know if we have the infrastructure to handle it.

We'll see what happens though.

I said it in another thread but I got my money on Newark. You have port newark, the rail yards, Newark international and JFK is an hour away, NYC is a tunnel away. The turnpike is there.

North Carolina/Raleigh should get it but I don't think they can trust those Republicans not to pull some more gender identity politics to retain power in their districts.

Also I have a feeling Amazon is looking at their employee retention rate, hometown origins, colleges, and area they are most likely to move to after leaving Amazon.
That's a good point, having more employees in Virginia and leaving to government and consultant jobs means more Amazon influence on policy.

IIRC one of the proposed spots in DC was the Anacostia waterfront so if DC gets it then its a wrap if you don't own a spot there.

Bro how crazy would it be if Amazon takes the NoVa, Moco, and DC proposals and combines them to create a DMV linked campus.

I'm pretty sure that's a possibility in the works. If Amazon hasn't proposed it, I have a feeling local officials will. They'll sell it as "your employees can get from site to site to site and never leave the metro".

I think places that will make concessions for an extra low corporate tax rate along with a medium to low cost of living will get the bid. The only reason I'd still consider Newark is because of NYC's proximity and the fact that northeasterners want to continue the gentrification of the region, thus pushing out whatever black people are still in the region.

My top 3 are DMV, Dallas and Austin. Texas has a low cost of living and no state tax that always makes the state desirable to corporations. Wild card is Raleigh.
