Amazon needs more regulation to control the plethora of Chinese sellers and IP violations

I know this isn't a new discussion and it's something I noticed and I'm sure others have noticed for a while but just figured I'd make a thread about it. Anyone who buys particularly electronics on Amazon know the shyt is ridiculous. I don't see how Amazon isn't in violation of trade and some labor laws with how prevalent Chinese knockoffs and price undercutting exists on Amazon.

Do an experiment and just look for example some wireless headphones.

Notice the "brand" names that make little to no sense and obvious similarities to other products like beats headphones and other more popular mainstream brands? Notice the 19,000 reviews almost all fives stars, while, what is missing is that the same "Review farms" that vote up these products are also down-voting other brands including American manufacturers.

Also there is a constant fear of buying counterfeit products which under normal market regulations would be against the law in the US yet, Amazon allow these violations to take place without much punishment. Anyone who look to buy maybe some shoes that are popular or other popular product has to worry about being shipped a knock off product, even if its an Amazon certified seller.

Like I said, many sellers prefer to have genuine reviews while chinese sellers routinely put up products and in 24 hours have 1000 five star reviews.

shyt is out of control. I don't expect Democrats or Republicans to address the issue seriously anytime soon however.

Bruh I've bought some headphones before that under all circumstances seemed to be from a legit seller on Amazon and I thought I was getting real shyt and it was counterfeit. As we all know IP violations is common in China and now they're selling it outside of China. In a normal marketplace this is not an issue because the products wouldn't be allowed to be sold in the first place. Amazon isn't held to this standard.

That is a problem. Not to mention anytime I search for like I said electronic devices I have to search through shytty chinese products that mysteriously have 10k five star reviews that are usually one sentence long to find an actual good product.

I don't care what MAGA folks say. Doesn't make the shyt less true.

Yep, I just bought this docking station for laptop. The vendor is a small mom/pop shop and the owner was going off on this. But, at this point people can't be surprised that if you use a factory in a kleptocracy, someone will steal your IP. There were all kinds of knockoffs with nonsensical names.

At some point companies are going to have to give up on Asia as an assembly point.

I’m not gonna fake, my activebudz Bluetooth headset is a revelation. But if you go on there looking for anything electronic and not expecting to sift through pages of Chinese knockoff brands, you pouring jelly on yourself.

if your talking about the MPOW..these are real review..and they are real good for the money...i would say they are close to some skull candy.. at least 4/5 of skullcandy value
