No one is forcing people to buy Alexa or any of these outrageous products. Most people saw this day coming and those of us who were rightly concerned decided that we'd never allow that kind of product in our homes. This is a textbook example how governments slowly destroy their citizen's privacy and rights
1) find a murderer / rapist / terrorist case to give to a judge
2) Judge sets precedent
3) people dont care and say "I'm cool with it. I got nothing to hide. im not killing or raping people"
Have an always on, always listening device in your home, brehs...
All you have to do is unplug Alexa before you murder someone, y'all in here acting like this is some 1984 shyt
people are more aware about the phones tho. apps ask for permissions, you can always browse in incognito mode so your search doesnt match your profile, or use a vpn.If this could help catch someone who murdered one of my family members, I’d be down for it too.
People whining about these devices when your phone does the same thing. Think those IG ads are in your feed only because of the pages you follow or info you provided when you signed up brehs![]()
Setup and use of these home systems, you’re also providing permission...you’re explicitly setting up an always on always listening device. As for apps, those shyts are listening in the background, you think folks really reading EULA’s that deep to know everything these apps are accessing outside of contacts, camera and location?people are more aware about the phones tho. apps ask for permissions, you can always browse in incognito mode so your search doesnt match your profile, or use a vpn.
the main issue aside from obvious privacy infringement is that companies make a killing off datamining your life with barely asking you and you are just a cog![]()
