It seems much like gamepass, Amazon Prime is unsustainable and they are forced to raise the price again.

Amazon is removing 4K streaming from Prime Video in April and putting it behind its ad-free tier paywall

The ad-free tier is also increasing from $3 to $5 a month

Now why would a company raise the price of something that’s already profitable?????

It makes no sense

Especially when you add the cost to manufacture all the products, prime is burning money away.

There’s just some exec that’s too prideful to pull the plug.

Brother, capitalism is just letting private individuals own the means of production. It’s the only economic model that could even give us the convenience of Amazon and its streaming service. If we lived under socialism, communism, mercantilism, feudalism, etc. we wouldn’t have the luxury of hating this decision.

Amazon’s streaming service is the worst of the streaming services and was never worth paying for anyways.

Amazon prime remains the undisputed GOAT and is incredibly profitable for Amazon.

Amazon prime is trash man I hate I pay for this.

I only keep it cuz my moms but I hardly ever go on the streaming app it is slow and archaic.

Now they removing 4k and hdr. Really no reason to ever visit that shyt.
