Amazon Prime is unsustainable and unprofitable.

If Google Fiber had more access in Atlanta, I believe they'd probably do something similar.

I'm grandfathered in on HBO Max being part of my AT&T fiber package, but after hearing what my homie pays, I'm pretty much paying for HBO Max as part of my price anyway for the same speed but 10 bux more. :francis:
I heard Gfiber is getting majority sold to a normal cable company and Google will just hold a minority share.

Use external player like vlc
Exo is horrible also makes sure you are running the latest version of stremio

Also try turning on a VPN might be your ISP blocking

Good sir, are you comparing Gamepass to Amazon Prime?

I still like the free shipping but I pirate anything with ads anyway.

This is not a 50-60% price increase and it's done because the service has pricing power.

The two just don't compare.
25 dollars vs 30 dollars for a service.

That's what I boils down to, everything else is opinions.

No. Netflix entire business hinges on the streaming service itself so they won't make a move to jeopardize it. If tomorrow Game Pass subs halved what would it be to Microsoft's bottom line?

They don't compare.

Brother, capitalism is just letting private individuals own the means of production. It’s the only economic model that could even give us the convenience of Amazon and its streaming service. If we lived under socialism, communism, mercantilism, feudalism, etc. we wouldn’t have the luxury of hating this decision.

I never understand why this gets lost in the "capitalism bad" takes.

If anything we're not in a legit capitalist society where the market decides anything--for example, airport service gets worst and worst as the years go by regardless of the demand for better service.

Hell, most markets are manipulated by companies who cozy up to the state and rig the game for themselves. it, Kroger remaining open during COVID because of the CEO's relationship with the president.

Capitalism has plenty of issues, but, I wouldn't want the state legit in charge of everything.

These dudes on the Internet that hate capitalism have never actually taken any economics or history classes. All they know about economics is things they learned from other blind dumb redditors

:mindblown:

The airports are publicly owned and airlines are public subsidized is literally the best case of the fake ass capitalism that we have right now.

You make all the airports private, capitalism doesn't take over.

They will jack up prices and fire people and when they lose money, they get a bailout from the gov't regardless of their conduct before and after.

We really running shyt like the oligarchs in Russia.

You just gonna lobby yo ass off and you get to do shyt like buy up the housing market to the point the concept of a starter home is death and senior citizens are spending more money than any time in history because they gotta help their grandkids with down payments on houses.

Sorry for the rant, but, that shyt be blowing my mind.

There's not a good example of a proper market in this country because every one has someone at the top breaking all types of anti-trust rules to stay there.
