Hype/Battle/Fight Anime

• Dandadan - High School girl that believes in Ghosts meets High School Boy that believes in Aliens - turns out both exist and adventures ensue
• Chainsaw Man - See below.
• Jujutsu Kaizen - I don't even know what this is truly about TBH, but the fights are great
• My Hero Academia - Japanese take on Super Heroes (just recently ended?)
• Solo Leveling - over powered, great fifths

Chill

• Apothecary Diaries - Mysteries in a Chinese palace where the Emperor keeps his concubines.
• Apocalypse Hotel - Like a Japanese take on Wall-E, just not as happy. Very fun and interesting
• Dungeon Meshi - Travel through a dungeon, kill monsters, cook them.
• Freiren - Elf that lives for 1,000 years, defeated the demon lord with her squad, but then outlives her old crew. Gets a new crew and they travel.

If we're talking classics

• Fullmetal Brotherhood/Full Metal Alchemist - 2 Brothers try to bring their mom back to life and get cursed
• Attack on Titan - You gotta watch the first one
• One Piece - I've never gotten through an episode, but it's THE series that anime fans swear by.
• Ghost in the Shell - Cyberpunk Japan with crazy sci-fi criminals.

There's just so much out there. Romance, Sports, Slice of Life, Comedy, Horror, Chinese "Anime", Korean "Anime", Anime aimed at kids,

There isn't a whole lot of "teenagers jumping in robots and fighting aliens/other robots". Lots of people being sent from our world to a fantasy world (isekai), fantasy worlds, and tons of wish fulfillment/power fantasy type anime.

Watched The Mighty Nein S1 finale last night. Must have saved some of the action budget for the last episode because they got busy.
