Not official but since this announcement I stop getting the notification on my firestick that youtube will be gone 1 Jan 2017.

Thought it was always bullshyt, bush-league status for Amazon not to carry Google's products. As if Google couldn't turn the lights off on at least 25% of Amazon's business just by tweaking its Google Search.
