Exactly. I haven’t read any indication from Amazon that they would specifically seek out black applicants or hiring them from their “job training” programs. Furthermore,NYC’s economy is very diversified so it’s not like they needed this to be built. And the funny thing is amazon already has a presence in New York
The subways are garbage and the rent is exorbitant but the government up there had all this money to throw at the richest man on earth

At least Virginia and Nashville will benefit from the diversification of their economies

The average resident in queens bridge makes 16,000 a year I’m pretty confident any form of job training from Amazon was going to boost their salary since they can put amazon on their resume.
