I'm still on a student account anyways. but I'm more upset about possibly having to pay taxes on purchases. the items better arrive the next day the latest if they charging tax and the warehouse is a few hours away. hopefully that doesn't happen for a few years tho or it gets cancelled.

they been charging taxes for a while breh. I'm on the Prime student account and the taxes have been on for the last year as I recall.

Other big companies started snitchin' on Amazon saying its not fair and shyt.

they got distribution centers out there. states where they have a presence are required to charge tax. that's why best buy and Wal-Mart and others charge tax since they have a location there. they got distribution centers in Phoenix and Goodyear. Florida doesn't have one but they planning to build two. in actuality all should pay taxes and even when filling income taxes is when it's recommended to put it in, but nobody does and it's hard to enforce.

I don't remember if they do that the first time you sign up , I know I have renewed twice just by putting in a my 4 year old .edu address which is no longer active
