I can't even begin to imagine the nightmare amount of resources and logistics it would take to keep a large structure in the air 24/7. I think i'll go on record as saying this ain't happening anytime soon if ever....i hope i'm wrong tho cuz can you also imagine the experience of attending an airborn NFL game.
Then again if they was smart the would get into bed with the Hyperloop ppl or compete and build their own, network it all across the country like a superhighway system with the warehouses as nodes and they could not only replace the trucking industry but they could control it and command whatever money they'd want for ppl to have access to it.
