I don't understand that 'staying together for the children' logic. I can see why parents do it (because they feel that's what is best for the child, to be raised in a two parent home) but kids aren't stupid. They can sense when their parents are miserable and don't like each other. Sometimes being apart and having atleast a semi-amicable relationship with your former partner is what's best. I hope that this is what happens with Wiz & Amber even if she is asking for sole custody. I don't see this getting bitter.
I didn't mean in that sense. I mean, you're decent, they're decent, you're getting along but you want to "upgrade" partners for financial reasons/looks. I'm glad my parents got divorced. We're talking breaking up for "come up" purposes.
