This will be a big failure - amc stock will go down as it’s diluted by the ape dilution. This actually is helpful for shorters

I’m not sure you all understand the mechanics

That’s the play here.

Hedge funds got caught with their pants down with this play. If the DD is correct and we keep holding, HFs continue to bleed, once their assets reaches zero, then the insurance kicks in. The clearing house then needs to balance the books. Their computers don’t give a shyt about price. They just need shares to balance.

Algos can’t find shares at $300? Ok up it to $500. Can’t find any at 5? Up it to $1K. So on and so on.

“A fundamental problem with short selling is the potential for unlimited losses.”

HOLD!

the DD is correct, retail owns the float. theres likely billions of synthetic shares.

the voting results from august 2021 done within two weeks by shareholders proved that 2% of retail investors own 13% of the AMC float. how many shares do the other 98% of retail own? that less than 2% figure is extrapolated from the 4 million retail investors the CEO repeatedly said were invested in AMC.

none of the numbers surrounding this stock makes sense unless you account for the crime of naked short selling.

even without institutions, mutual funds or insiders, does it makes sense that 4,000,000 retail investors would have an average of 129 shares to make up the entire 516,779,000 of outstanding shares? a lot of retail investors have way more than 129 AMC shares.

Most of us here are already at a year and a half :beli:

you would have retired in a few decades with a regular savings account and/or 401K. this ain't gonna take nearly as long. their only hope is for AMC to go bankrupt and if they lose control of the other stocks they're shorting then AMC will run as well.

Yeah people are trying to use fundamentals...but this isn't a fundamentals play. Hedge funds are backed into a corner and will pull every trick out of the book to scare retail off.

GME/AMC holders are just sitting on the stock. It's a standoff where the holders don't lose anything by holding (except opportunity cost of not putting the money elsewhere) but the hedge funds have to work overtime to keep the lid from blowing off.

I’m not sure you all understand the mechanics

Nothing can help shorters other than people selling, don't think you understand the mechanics, every knows the price is manipulated if you can't grasp that by now you shouldn't even be talking and just move on

but they have the match the price of ape with AMC, that's why the price halved, you have the same amount of money just with twice as many stocks, dilution is only temporary drops

I was in favor for share dilution in may of 2021, the dumb ass ape community doesn't understand that AMC needed the money to get out of debt which would absolutely crush the short sellers, which exactly what this move will do, now that Adam Aron came up with a different way to raise funds without pissing off the retarded ass apes

OP is a piece of shyt that should be banned. @FireMikelArteta get this fakkit off the board.

The board shouldn’t allow this type of shilling from a fukking cac that goes on Reddit and reposts everything from fukking kids on Wall Street Bets that don’t know shyt about investing or stocks. fakkit only trying to FOMO nikkas into being bag holders.
