What's everybody's gripe with AMD? I never had a problem with any of my cards

Basically, efficiency. I rock an AMD card, cpu and chipset as well, but only because I'm cheap. AMD's chips will be slower than their Intel / Nvidia counterparts every time, while somehow requiring more wattage. This is across all their lines. But, if you're on a budget and don't care about extra heat, there's really nothing wrong with AMD at all.

I recently bought a few shares of Ford Motor Company and been very happy with the performance. Sirius Radio has been all over the place for me. I'd like to get a few more tech stocks in my portfolio.

you might wanna hold off for now and look into medical/health and science. the tech industry is at a weird spot right now...investors are starting to rethink these crazy "unicorn" valuations and it's causing the market for tech companies to slide down right now. it seems like engineers are starting to get hip to the scam companies are running as well...companies offer a small percentage of stock to employees in exchange for a salary below market rate and it saves the companies millions and end up screwing the workers over.

a company that caught my attention in 2013 and i invested in is Cascade Microtech. you might wanna research them. they've grown a lot and pretty fast. i feel like companies that provide parts for tech is a more viable option :yeshrug:

I have a few shares in a pharmaceutical company as well. I've definitely seen how tech companies value can be very volatile. My best stock has been Ford Motor Company but I'm always looking for ways to diversify. Thanks for the tip.
