AMD is releasing a $1500 graphics card

This card is specifically for 4k and 3 monitor setups. The price is reasonable given what it is doing. Y'all making fun of it, have no idea what its purpose is

Ya and it'll play titanlarry at 3 times the resolution. This is bleeding edge tech, not for the average gamer. This is for the guy that already bought a 4k monitor/tv.

I may have to go back to the AMD route.

Nvidia dropped the ball on the dual gpu cards this round. Plus, they underpowered the 690 a little bit compared to 2 680s. AMD made this the equivalent to 2 290xs and put in liquid cooling. I'm very impressed

I mean this used to be pretty normal, 1500 is high but a g wasn't anything knew. This is ushering back the days of the Gainward Golden Sample Ultra Edition level of cards

Very true. I had no problem paying for my 690, I thought it was reasonably priced. This shyt is reasonably priced too for more power and liquid cooling.

Ya breh, I remember when I was 16-17 (2003) when I bought a brand new Radeon 9700 Pro for $500 and that was a lot. But at the time that was the pinnacle . I haven't been into computer gaming since Tribes 2. Used onboard for a while, got a card now so I can watch my HD movies smoothly . Think I'm gonna get back into it tho. Need to build a new pc soonish, gonna get a shuttle case or something I could put by the tv.

I'm about to build a new pc myself. I want tri-1440p monitors and then a 4th 4K monitor as an auxilary and put up 2 profiles. That's a while down the way though. I gotta save up for that shyt. First the new graphics card though. I was waiting on a 790, but maybe this new AMD card is the way to go

This type of card is far beyond the needs of a typical arcadium poster. If your comparing this card to those in a PS4 or a Xbox One, you're already proving you're not the intended market for this card.

For the record neither am I btw. My 680 will hold me down comfortably till the end of this gen.
