Is this what is has come down to for you? The article said it itself, "many commonalities" you know...such as the x86 based APU which lies in the heart of both consoles.
It's ok to grasp at straws, but the problem on your end is that nobody is saying that they are exactly like a PC. They are running on a specially modified architecture foundation found on the PC and made modifications from there in other areas....maybe that's why I picked the word "modified" perhaps? Maybe "custom" would have been an easier word for you to understand?

Your first post was shyt about "enjoy your Xbox" and other random stanary.
I expect that from courtdog or rekka, but for a mod to be doing that it really makes the board look bad. We literally can't have ANY mature conversation here. I understand that it's a very relaxed environment, but when one of the mods is contributing to the fukkery I think we have a problem.

I read the thread title and the article. And truth is neither you or me know enough about the truth to be making definitive statements about anything. Eurogamer has an article saying that mantle is similar to the API being used for the ps4. I doubt these very technical publications who have access to information that we don't, would just pull lies out of their ass for no reason.
If you actually tried to read and learn instead of running in every thread like to know everything, maybe you wouldn't make yourself look like such a douche bag all the time.

What the whole issue about thread title? I know it speculation, hence the "?" at the end. I'm very tech savy. I have a tech degree that specialize in networking. I'm a information sponge and love to read. I'm not taking any sides but you did come acting as if I was trying to stir something up. I posted this for intelligent discussion but it always fails. This was sort of a test based the so called truce made last night. But people feelings are to heavily invested in the stan wars.
