Her album cover for this song reminds me of the opposite answer to Sade Love Deluxe album cover.
That being said, this song in op has to grow on me,

based on comments made here i decided to revisit her discography... only got a chance to peep out a few songs so far... anyhow, it appears she made more than a few songs that i didn't know about... i think infinite possibilities was the album i didn't like.... anyhow, ran across for real... that's a tight joint... i'll listen to her whole discography this weekend tho.....

p.s.: how did i overlook it's alright (groove theory) from sunset park soundtrack? .... i had that soundtrack when it came out, but forgot all about this cut... that track is tight too..

You know if I didn't stumble across this thread then I would not have known she was dropping anything new. I like the song.
