I personally just think it's because he's the best shooter of all-time.
For some reason everyone loves a great shooter, but one who pulls up from 30 ft. like nothing is something else. No choice but to just watch and enjoy it, unless you're a fan of the other team. You amaze people that much and the arrogance afterward is something they'll even revel in enjoying.

That's just off the top of my head. Steph is without question the most arrogant player I've ever seen. And the odd thing about it is that his cockiness is actually celebrated, whereas Bron gets criticized for much of the same.

Granted across cultures arrogance can be misinterpreted. What americans and some other cultures consider to be "confidence" is viewed by many others groups as straight arrogance.

Nothing new here; cats on this site have already peeped game--Steph is not as humble as some try to make him out to be. Maybe it's because I don't watch GS, unless they're playing OKC, or they're in a big match-up, but I don't see Klay celebrating that much. For example, in game 5 against the Cavs and game 6 versus OKC, breh was in the zone and after every shot he was just looking to get back and play defense. If anything, he should be painted as the humble one.

Steph is definitely cocky. Cam gets hated on for dancing but America thinks it's cute when Steph chews his mouthpiece, dances, and all the other shyt. I don't have problems with either one though
