They need to be taxed harder because of that shyt, but lobbyists got their pockets fat.

There's alot of them. It's crazy, I watched this documentary on tax avoidance and man the shyt they do and are allowed to get way with is pretty funny. For example Starbucks has a shell company that holds all of their intellectual property. This company is incorporated overseas somewhere, the Netherlands I believe b/c they don't tax on IP. What this allows them to do is, they make everything an IP...the names and flavors of their coffee is trademark, the logo of course is trademarked, the cups you use and everything you can buy there is trademarked. What they then do for each franchise is they calculate the gross earnings that franchise will have for the year and then they license the IP rights to all the aforementioned trademarked products to that franchise and make it so that license dollar amount equals to or is greater than the estimated gross revenue for that franchise. Therefore that franchise in the books technically made ZERO dollars because their revenue never exceeds their costs [licensee fee]. I believe IKEA and Apple do the same or something similar.

The US Government pretty much just forced Walgreen's to stay at home. They were going to try this inversion shyt.
No mention of apple on that list either who is one of the bigger offenders but they aren't incorporated overseas.

What the U.S. should do is get rid of corporate taxes and just tax the individuals...
of course companies are going to flee...the govt. are double dipping....by taxing capital gains and then individual taxes
and even though it makes perfect business sense politicians are never going to allow that because they want to beat on their chest in front of a podium to show their constituents how hard they are taxing corporations.

What the U.S. should do is get rid of corporate taxes and just tax the individuals...

this is true. if they would simplify the tax code they could collect more taxes. instead you need a degree in rocket science to figure out the current tax code.
