I plan to keep informing and will try to find more means to let my angst against this to be heard.

They're asking us to accept it now when at first it was covert and people like you would probably have labeled someone like me as over the top because it was unfounded.

Now that its out in the open, let's openly oppose it.

In my opinion there are plenty more pressing issues that deserve our attention. But i get your point.

I've been watching the two of you go back and forth and I do think Reb is to a degree more fearful than necessary, but I can understand his fears, I don't have them yet, but I can understand them. I see Meach's point too. But to shift the argument for a second, to what degree was stuff like this not an almost necessary result of the age of asymmetric warfare combined with the American cowardice shown in the early days of the Obama administration. Remember when no one wanted anyone from Guantanomo tried in their state.

It just seemed to me that the combination of wanting to eliminate threats and American unwillingness to afford accused terrorists due process on our own soil, the government was bound to be more inclined to take this route. It's just a thought as I'm pondering a more efficient, and less morally tepid alternative.

Obama is a corporate warmonger :blessed:

Did nothing about the deficit with his Obama Tax cuts :blessed:

Kills American Citizens he deems a threat without due process :blessed:

Uses the FBI to infiltrate Occupy :blessed:

I wish Romney would have won. Maybe if they took the black, hollywood, academic "hip" face off this plutocracy then people would be angry.

Hey man....I was 14 when I actually knew someone that was assassinated by his government. No punishment for those involved. NOthing.. There's no way I can live down the possibility of that happening here in the future. I can't rock with it at all. With drone technology in its infancy, we should all be fighting this.

You been defending Obama like he's your uncle or something :laff:

Obama is a CORPORATE W-H-O-R-E hypocrite with 3 faces. I'm sorry I was not in the halls of Washington DC watching serious policy makers do serious work man maybe that would make me think he was actually a pragmatic progressive "serious" politician :dead:

Anyone with some sort of immigrant heritage on either side of family (from the "3rd world") probably has a similar story. I have a bunch of them. From South America to quelling opposition in Africa, there are plenty of examples. Even in the US' history. I'm acutely aware of that, but I just don't see the same factors there as I do here. If I did I'd be more worried. It's very rarely a civilian regime in recent history that starts doing shyt like that. I'm not saying don't spread awareness, I'm not far anything that abuses procedural due process, as a law student we get started off with Hamdi (am I fukking up this name), believe but I just think at this point the fear isn't balanced to the threat. But of course, I could be way off. Like I said, I can't fully say your wrong in anyway. I mean some people thought us going out there for Occupy Wallstreet was stupid :manny:

No, I've been defending educated thought and feasibility vs. a kid who thinks he's smarter than he is who I feel waters down the discussion. This post you just made is literally a microcosm of every post you ever make on politics...which apparently you learned out of your polisci 101 book by sabato.....you excel at making false statement about who disagrees with you or use the idiots of the opposition as your example. In other words, you create a weak opposition with your arguments and destroy that instead of taking something from where it's actually at. It's the equivalent of the Rock saying he's back in (insert city here) for a cheap pop. So let me get this straight, I shytted on Obama a bunch on SOHH in 09 and 10 while people like gluvnast and Exo were like "just let O-Dog get to the second term", and every other Democratic politician (while I was actually doing the work in DC I always reference) and SUDDENLY on the-coli I decided to defend him unabashedly. :rudy: You were the same person dapping me up last week for getting at Obama on drones. :pachaha:

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to criticize Obama like I spent all 09 doing on SOHH, but you start the debate so off fukking kilter with your purely visceral reactions that I exhaust my time bringing it back to a common sense middle. We should be talking about the NLRB right now, and topics like that...big shyt that no one on here talks about. It's like watching my African relatives argue about who fukked up their home country, they go on these detours and by the time the discussion is over they end up back where they started. It's just annoying to watch, and looks childish to me. But fukk it, I can't be wasting my energy on this shyt...carry on. Ill try to pop in now and then.

The precedent has already been set, which is why Obama does what he does. Do you think he is the first president to target American citizens?

The difference is chumps like you weren't running around defending it before, you're only doing it now because you feel compelled to stick up for your lord and savior. You're scum.
