I don't know about all that now like when I first saw American Gangster it took me almost five times of rewatching to fully understand the movie.

Scarface on the other hand is easier to understand once the movie hits the 35min mark, plus even tho Scarface is damn near 4 hours something about it throughout that length keeps me interested .

Also Scarface has more memorable scenes & quotes .

American Gangster is a good movie tho.
