Better than the other ending which shows him joining back with the skinheads.I always hated the ending for this and the potential messaging. What are you guys thoughts on it
The original ending could've eventually lead to this thoBetter than the other ending which shows him joining back with the skinheads.
Definitely.Better than the other ending which shows him joining back with the skinheads.
This. And I'm pretty sure Edward Norton is the one who forced them to go with the theatrical ending that we got. Good move.Better than the other ending which shows him joining back with the skinheads.
And it just would have been unrelentingly depressing. The movie is already a downer of a film. It's a powerful film, but it's not a very pleasant experience. They were going for a Shakespearean vive, and every character already gets a sad ending. Having Ed Norton's character go back to being a skinhead would've been too much, I think. They already showed that the cycle of hatred and violence only begets more violence, and that you incur a debt to karma even if you change your life. I would've hated seeing Ed Norton go back to being a skinhead again, and I think it would kind of hurt the movie's message.Movie would've shot itself in the foot if he went back to become a skinhead.
