great for them. They are creating a huge security problem by shipping all of these 'knowledge jobs' to foreigners. Sooner or later these Indians and others are simply going to create their own companies and there is going to be a huge void in talent here because people avoid the IT field due to them previously shipping away all the jobs. We'll lose our ability to compete in the world from a technology standpoint. With the manufacturing base already whittled away, what happens when you ship away all the 'knowledge' jobs? Say hello to third world country status.

You know the article says hb-1 contractors, which means they are being given visas to come to america and work here.
They arent being paid 15k, more like 90k and up...tbh the Indiansive met in IT, live and die for their work...they dont give a shyt about anything else but furthering their careers.
Lastly, its the recruiting companies that are fukking shyt up...big companies are willing to pay 100 bucks or higher per hour and they find employees for said company and pay them 60 an hour...recruiting companies are making a killing...

His friend got sponsored by a company in cali...nikka took a fake course and is making over 100k...
A guy who is a java developer, i know personally makes over 130k...was sponsored by freddie mac (spelling) he has a green card at the moment...he told me once he has his citizen his salary will go througj the roof. He also said if he spoke english tge way me and my friends did, he would be making close to 100 to 150 an hour in his line...

Anyone who has actually worked at a company with outsourced overseas IT knows how awful it is. Every company tries it, everyone hates it, jobs come back and the company has egg on its face. My company did that for a while and IT became a pariah in the company. Now they have IT folks on site to handle business.
actually this is a lie. thats like thinking just because you stop paying other gardeners to do your lawn, that you will get a much better deal by under paying some possible non legal hispanic guy with a lawnmower. Yet you think paying some indians in india 2 bucks is going to produce HIGH quality work. it doesnt most times. They are online searching for the very same answers on stackoverflow . and praying some old white man thats great with computers has been there and done that already and is willing to give them the answer.
but of course a company would rather pay a less then living wage to some other person outside the country where that wage for them is ok in their area. then pay you and I + benefits.
the global economy = all the stuff your american ancestors fault for when it comes to employee rights is going to go out the window because they can always hire someone for dirt cheap in another country. well at least until said country starts to grow economically to a point where their people will start to demand things just like we did a very long time ago.
