Growing up around both, I would say the city poor is worse. You got more opportunities with a more day to day stress.

Nowadays, it seems rural poor is getting worse. With cacs on drugs and the things cacs used to care about the most, the water supply getting fukked, we in the age of evil and the people who are least evil from a practice stance getting the worst treatment

Where I live, I been noticing these homeowners are setting their rental property up as rooming homes.
motherfukkers have an entire fleet of cars parked everywhere.

This!!! I went to visit my mom recently and she stays about 15 miles from San Francisco and her neighborhood had hella cars. I had to park a block away for the first time visiting her. Found out three homes have new renters and they each must've had 5 cars. They must have a few generations all living together.

It depends, what are your goals. From my experience, those in the poor areas have more options out than nikkas in the hood in the cities but if you in the hood from somewhere like DC, you got more possibilities than say Atlanta

That means you could move into a nice neighborhood, and not bring problems BUT once too many move in the property value drops JUST because its too many black people. This causes whites to move out. This is called "white flight". Once that happens the neighborhood is shown to attract more blacks, and that means the more negative element of us. It has nothing to do with we bring problems in general, its the system that has made it like this. It's only recent that we have confronted this based on having data to prove this.

How can yall be black, and still be this ignorant. I understand white people thinking like that because they don't have to study what we go trough,a nd why things are the way they are, they can ignore us, and those other down trodden whites. Newburgh and Middletown are more urban than 90% of the US
My cousin lives in a suburb of Newburgh and it might look country to people used to NYC, but it's really just regular suburban America
Newburgh proper is small but definitely urban in my opinion

There are tons of black neighborhoods where there aren't fukked up houses, and crime everywhere, I been all over the east coast and seen them myself. They may not look as nice, but that is due to how taxes work in this country. The issue is economics, and racism, those blacks who say the same thing are just as lost as to how things work just as you are. That doesn't mean because they are black they know what's up, most black people are lost as to why things are the way they are. YOU are proof of this.

Like I said, white flight happens because of all black people being lumped together. Whites can separate from their negative counterparts, we aren't allowed to. This is why in place like PG county in Maryland you have the richest county for blacks, but once you go down closer towards D.C. is gets more hood. We aren't allowed to separate once too many of us live in an area. All of this has been proven so keep believing c00n talk your family gave you. I know that's where you got it from because I doubt you have been living long enough to see different areas to compare.

But rural areas are the real deathtraps in America. That's despair in its earthly form.

Depends how you look at it. You actually have more fatal car accidents in the burbs than you do in the city. Kids are actually more active living in cities because you walking everywhere.. to school, to the playground, to the grocery store, to the doctor, etc.

It's nice in the burbs for kids to play in the backyard when they're little but after a few years it quickly becomes a scenario where they're always waiting on mom/dad to drive them somewhere to do the simplest activities.

America isnt behind. America is actually ahead. But white Americans fixation with all things European is the issue. Euros live in the cities. Cacs "Yea let's abandon our house on .25 acre for a 750sq ft townhouse" just like malls are now out of style because people want the row of stores to walk to like Europe give up a climate controlled shopping environment to enjoy the European experience of walking outside going to store to store in 100F weather/rain/snow etc
