I say this as a person who has worked for 3 financial institutions - I know what regular people are out here up against.
It's more complicated than "just set aside 25% of your paycheck", "you're just brainwashed to be materialistic", or

i'm not disgusted by "the poor", i'm disgusted by nikkas who embrace it and say it's their destiny. There is no logical reason for someone to pay $1200 a month mortgage in a flood zone where a storm like Katrina can come and wipe the whole foudation out. That's pure greed. Price caps would straighten that out fast.

This what makes me iffy about real estate in NOLA. Lots of property to fix up but honestly it's best to flip and sell. Keeping it is a hassle. It rains on a "regular" day down here and it seems like a hurricane came through. It's fukkin ridiculous.

Bro, most of these nikkas on here don't want financial freedom, they put more energy into excuse making than trying.

They cry about being broke, but become enraged when you say there are ways to become a boss and investor.

Books are free.
Youtube is free.

And if you have NO money to invest or build with it's because you are spending it on dumb shyt. 95% of the time. "The white man" isn't stopping you from using your disposable income wisely.

They aren't willing to make better decisions, which is why some of them have been on here for 6-7 years still making the same excuses they were back then.
