/Thread. fukk this the more money we make the more we spend myth :camby:. You must be a complete idiot if you think $15/hr today goes as far it did even ten years ago.

It's the tangible assets that we need. What do you need to live? Food, shelter, clothing.... What do you need to produce that? Land. What do people have a hard time acquiring and maintaining these Days because they tax you to the max? Land. The majority of the population is dependent on the system the government has set up to provide for them. It's a flawed system.

One non-insurance covered doctor bill will destroy any savings most Americans have.

Never forgot the 2k bill for a 10 minute MRI years back. That was just to see if I did some serious damage to my ankle. Can't imagine if I actually

did something catastrophic. Hell, you can be minding your own business, get shot on your block, and suddenly go bankrupt due to loss of wages from not working,
and the medical bills that follow. This country tells you to do one thing, but sets things up so that unless you are absolutely filthy rich, your cash can be wiped
the fukk out in record time.

Hell, check how hard it is to build good credit VS how fast they tank that shyt if you hit hard times. Ok credit vs great credit means the difference between thousands
of dollars in savings when you want to get a home or some sort of asset. Its crazy.

Cost of living and low wages kills savings for most people under 30. I'm under 30 and make 90k and my rent $1,400 a month to live in freakin' Newark NJ. If I had a child I'd be f*cked. Lower the rent so less fortunate people can actually save money.

:dead: If you were in Florida you’d be in 275-300k house with half an acre to 1 acre at that price.

Crypto is the new equalizer...For now

Fukk lettin a gross amount of cash sit around on some bank's database earning less than 1% interest meanwhile those same dollars in 10-15 years will be less than the .50 its worth now...

Diversify and seek any and every opportunity to compound your dough...This article is on some finger wagging shyt as if the average American even attended an educational institution that applied and reinforced real world examples of building and increasing wealth...

Economics courses were trash AF when I was in HS...College was depressing because it was a reminder that, yeah, its too late now, you're already in the debt matrix nygga so here's a pamphlet (coursework) informing you of how fukked you really are...

shyt is extortion.
Jersey most corrupt state ever.
there is nothing in New Jersey worth $1,400 every month. Nothing! I'm here for work for a year and a half and I already give the northeast two thumbs down. Especially Jersey. :heh:
They want us black folks out of there major cities.
I don't know how people do it. I walk down the street in Newark and drive thru Irvington and The Oranges and it's all worse than any ghetto in Chicago and the people and buildings look even more dilapidated. How do you live in the same neighborhood as me if I'm clearing six figures and my rent is astronomical but you bummed out?
:dead: If you were in Florida you’d be in 275-300k house with half an acre to 1 acre at that price.
Bossman real talk my apartment is 740 sqft with a garage space, I pay the electric bill and that's it. $1,400 every month. :wow: . Back home in the Chi I could rent a whole house in Hoffman Estates for this much, and there ain't NOTHING in Newark except the path train to get me to NYC. I never been to Florida before but I thought it was expensive too? I can't even buy a condominium or a house in New Jersey that's not a POS and even they're over a quarter mill. :dead: I'm blessed to earn good money and to be single so I can still save, but what if I was a regular guy making $40,000? Forget saving like the article said, I'd be homeless. :scust:

How can you save when every time you turn the fukk around it's some new bill or expensive shyt that you need to buy to keep you afloat...:beli: plumbers, fixer uppers in your house, car maintenance ... and now let's not even taking into account the tax increases in the future..

NO fukkING shyt... :beli: american's aint saving... We're barely surviving even on good jobs to save a decent amount.
Nikkas don’t know how to fix shyt themselves anymore, if you take your car to a shop in 2018 you just throwing money away.

Thousands of step by step videos on YouTube and on car forums and it’s folks paying another man $70 to change oil & filter :mjlol::dame:

give us 2017 annual earnings with a 1950's cost of living and we ALL could live that nice life....:sas2:

Some Republican posters be like "b b but you don't understand economics. A place to live on your own is a luxury in itself and the population too large to supplement that. You will only devalue the American dollar if people have more savings and disposable income. We cannot have that in America today"

@Serious what posters does that sound like? ^^^^^^

You paying 1400 to live in Newark?! Newark?!! :mindblown:

Must be the proximity to NYC that keeps you there.
