I got rid of my cable, its not as bad as I thought it was going to be. You can literally watch anything without it. I thought the bill was too much and I can comfortably afford it.

Getting rid of cable has saved me $5000+ over the years now, like you said you can watch whatever you want without it. No commercials outside of sports is as well.

I would definitely recommend it. The only thing that sucked was that we wanted to see the Northern Lights, but we missed it by a week (we went at the end of March/beginning of April last year). There's a lot of natural beauty that people wouldn't really think of when they think of Iceland ...

If a person has no cell phone, then they get one, of course that money has to come from somewhere. It's called opportunity cost.
