Asimov and Le Guin write neat science fiction, which admittedly isn't for everyone. You should absolutely check out Ralph Ellison though, that guy wrote a masterpiece, it's called the Invisible Man and it'll have you like

Neither America nor Europeans go hard against oppression so that argument ain't shyt...both governments are part of global neoliberalismm that hurts people of color and working class folks...we had some good movements in the black freedom struggle in America, but it didn't lead to dramatic progressive changes

Machada is a poet right? I believe clarice mentioned him in this book that I have of hers (just articles that she wrote for a newspaper in Rio)

I know of Ralph now, we had to read the invisible man in my AP English class, but I dropped out of that class.

How are you liking that? Currently I'm reading this book that has a bunch of German poetry from 1910's-1960's, it has several poets and it has one page the original in German and then the English translation on the other.
