This is why infrastructure investment is so necessary; and it's easy to see why the US could very easily have a fully employed workforce, a much greater distribution of income, and a much more efficient economy.

But our federal and state governments are run by ingrates.

I agree and feel transaction transparency is the first step towards holding government officials accountable. As for taxes, we won't get anywhere when multi billion corporations aren't paying any taxes. It's a fight against classes. I don't understand how a poor person can get brainwashed to fight against raising taxes on corporations.
