They are surrounded by Mountains, and one of the largest cities in the Mountain West in the US

Alot of activities in Denver and Colorado Springs center around outdoor activities and fitness. That's the culture there, and it has permeated in the entire state. I visited Grand Junction, Denver, Colorado Springs, etc. Everyone is jogging, walking, hiking, etc etc
