An overly reductionist article, the article was sent to me a couple of days ago and I was not impressed with the arguments put forward. The core reasons we are in our current situation involves racism but is also the result of :

• The risk and fear of losing social status which leads to an increase in status anxiety
• Ignorance or apathy regarding the role of complex important institutions, allowing for the narrative fallacy to become prevalent.
• Distraction and increased emphasis on convenience.
• Technological stagnation which has led to growth being etched in debt instead of innovation.
• Improbable and misguided aspirations, primarily among the working class. Again with easy access to credit/debt helping foster bad investments.

It makes sense, it's in their nature to conquest massively, because they can't stand themselves. Most civilizations with power do seek other lands and resources. But I noticed with a lot of indigenous peoples like the many in africa, the americas, most asian countries besides china, and others I forget, is that they expanded to a point, but didn't try to over leverage themselves trying to take over whole fukking continents and the world essentially. In history europeans were going fukking everywhere mainly due to greed and sadism and pretty much all of those countries have had massive, deadly civil wars and regimes where millions died (spain, russia, germany, france, etc).
Cac society is made so solely off idolitry that they don't really have a grasp of reality and it not only blinds them to their own self destructive mannerisms and actions but prevents them in simply just doing better for themselves to themselves instead of trying to impose on the world how just and/or powerful they are.

It's funny when I go to cities like New York and see these liberal Yuppie white people talking about how they wish America was more like Europe and had its social safety nets... meanwhile they don't even understand that their family members friends and peers are the reason we don't cuz they continue to vote for Republicans that just fukk everybody else over.

This election cycle really made me realize that white people are scared to death to confront their racist family members friends and peers.

Its one of the many reasons why I'll never be able to have white friends. The ebb and flow of whiteness allows for too much freedom in the way that they are able to navigate this world. And, of course, that is exactly how they designed the system to function--to wander around this world the way a thought wanders through your mind. So casually, and with such ease, and efficiency. On a whim. Whose destination is always motivated by pure, selfish lust. Not taking into consideration how it affects anyone else. I can't feel comfortable being around someone who can, at any moment, lean into a system that could wipe me out at any given moment. On a whim. The n-word, for example. There is such a vile history behind that world. And it has been kept alive to serve as a verbal "whipping" to be given to any black person at any moment. On a whim. I wouldn't feel comfortable being friends with an individual where the power dynamics were so one-sided and where a word like that--the n-word--was always in their arsenal to be used at any given moment. On a whim. I guess I'd just like to know what the end game is. Or what it ever was. We were dehumanized, and continue to be, to serve as a way of maintaining the status quo, but surely white people know we are human with the same desires as them. With the same emotions, and with the same ability to fight back. Why not do what is right to try and stifle that potential, ever present, always lingering violence? You would think that the goal would be to avoid such chaotic energy. To get to a place of low energy for stability's sake. I guess the article is right; that the allure of whiteness, and all of its implications within the context of this particular period in history, is more powerful than doing what is right. Or even logical. With that said...nothing lasts forever.
