Good 10 min Video. Put speed on 1.25 or 1.5.

Industry vs Conservation

1 million undeveloped acres in Minnesota, the equivalent of Harris County, TX where Houston is located.

Only 1% of rock is actually copper. 99% of the rock is waste made of lead, arsenic, mercury, that is stored on site usually in pools, which have had disastorous spills in other places. So new process of dry stack storage is being proposed, but wind could blow pollutants off it.

Obama actually did a good thing here.
Theodore Roosevelt did a good thing by protecting a lot of land.

Land is the greatest public resource of any nation.

I believe that every family should have the right to enough land to live on, and beyond that nations should work to maintain as much of their natural areas as possible for public use and not private or corporate use. So many people with shortsighted aims destroy that which benefits us all for the sake of temporary profits for just a few.

I would love to see a table showing in general how much waste is generated from each type of mineral we mine. :ohhh:

I know that info is out there.

99% is waste material that is unsafe for humans and any other biological life. Really has no other use :mindblown:
