All of that supports what I said, weaker vocals don't kill a career, timing, the machine, and "it" factor are drivers. Rihanna didn't build her career on r&b, SOS was very pop and pon de replay was dancehall/island...unfaithful was a huge pop ballad. Rih had the machine and Umbrella was the "it" factor that pushed her to true stardom, without the right team making sure she got that track instead of Britney, her career doesn't go the same way.

Rihanna bit alot of FeFe Dobson too.

You know Amerie is the damn business when you have grown ass nikkas discussing her career with zero "pauses", owl gifs and "no homos".

I fukks with Amerie's most recent track with Rich Harrison, 2015's "Out Loud." shyt is nice.

Furthermore, All I Have is a damn classic, agreed, but nikkas are REALLY sleepin' on her discography. In my eyes, Amerie has never dropped a trash album, chick just keeps bringin' heat. :wow: I remember when "Why R U" came out and flex was going INSANE, playing that shyt back to back like 10 times. :wow: Overall, that's probably my favorite shyt by her. :whew:

I love this bytch. I remember when she was on the Moshulu in Philly about two years ago. You know a nikka is in love when he was contemplating going alone.. :birdman:

Just look at who produced "Crazy In Love"

That should answer that question.

And he produced

which is the best track he produced for her. It didn't really shark Amerie...but when I first heard it...i actually felt like it could have been an Amerie song.

Then these blatant sharks

Man stfu, Beyoncé had 10 million plus selling album in 1999

No she didn't. She was still with Destiny's child then. Her first album didn't come out til 2003...he was right...she didn't have an identity at that time as a solo artist. Why do you think her first album was named after a Destiny's Child album cut...which she took and placed on her album also and named it after it. It's also the reason why her first album is her only album that sounds like a traditional R&B album. "Be With You", "Signs", My, Myself and I", "Dangerously In Love", "The Closer I get to You", and "Speechless" all were nearly back to back to back on that album. Even with the singles... Crazy In love [Amerie styled], Baby Boy [dancehall influenced...Sean Paul was hot then], Naughty Boy [piggy backed off of the sucess of Truth Hurts "Addictive" vibe with arabic type beat]...etc.

That's why they reshaped her image and etc and made her go more pop and etc.

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
She proudly gave Neyo credit for writing that, in fact everyone knew Neyo wrote it and it wasn't even a secrect, he was the hottest song writer at the time. So who did you hear say that. Beyoncé has always gave credit to where it's due. Everyone who's worked with her has nothing bad to ever say about her

Unlike drake
No she didnt. She was asked how she came up with the song and made up some lame story and then HIS fans shytted on her for it cause they already heard the orginal shyt. She THEN proceeded to proudly give him credit for the shyt.
