In a Blind thread someone asked this question, why is China not a more popular destination for Indians and why does China need to send so many PHD candidates to the U.S if they have the educational infrastructure that produces so many candidates in the first place

For the Indian portion I'm assuming it's just an easier transition for Indians and other foreigners due to language and cultural barrier
