This cat has the right attitude and motor to be a great guard. Get rid of coward a$$ Lin , let him go be what he was posed to be, an economics professor.

Beverly was giving Westbrook fits out there, If Im the Rockets and thinking long term, (future playoff games against the Nuggets, the Clips, Thunder ) Im locking up Beverly.

They can't amnesty him, they'd have to find someone that would trade for him. If he was 10 years older the Lakers might be interested.

Are y'all serious right now?

Patrick Beverly is truly garbage. Don't let the fact that he plays behind an even more garbage point guard fool you into thinking Beverly has some worth.

I've watched Pat Bev many times when he was playing in Europe. The improvement he has made since his first years is incredible because he's the type of player that works HARD AS fukk. For example, he was always been a tough defender because of his athleticism and his willing to play for the team but his offensive skills were almost non-existent. He still has a lot of weaknesses but he replaces that lack of talent he has compared to other guys with hard work and energy.

I don't know if he can be a first PG for a play-off team because that means most teams will be prepared for his style of play and defensively it's not that difficult to shut it down. However, he can definitely be the back-up PG who, depending on the game, could get a lot of minutes on the floor.
