Individual supporters of BLM volunteering in LA isn't the same as an organizational objective to serve as a relief agency in natural disasters.

This would be like expecting GLAAD handle avalanche search and rescue.

The man is asking for BLM boats - which BLM obviously doesn't have bc BLM is an advocacy and capacity building organization focused on the prison industrial complex and racial inequality.

They don't have a flood evacuee or relief organizational directive.

I think you are complicating it breh, Yes there are floods going on, but it is not quite as catastrophic as katrina. The same money and resources that they use to travel and pay for lodging when there is a police shooting is the same money that can be spent here. That same organization they put into marches and protests, making people aware of whats going on, is the same effort and organization that they can put into food and water drives and mobilizing the community for rescue efforts. setting up animal shelters, anything. You're letting them off the hook. When they have proven themselves to be ambulance chasers.
