*Nas is greater than than Tupac
Brehs I love SOME of the message that Pac showed in his music but the sheer immaturity of the dude was of a scale I have never seen before; for every progressive lyric there was an ignorant action. How can you make a song like changes but have beef with 90% of the East coast, why the fukk was this dude on a serious gangster facade?
I'm not convinced by anything Pac ever did, his entire persona was built upon something he created to sell records and that's it. His music reflected that. How the fukk can you go from this
to this?
and people call Ross fake? Stop lying to yourselves.
Nas ALWAYS kept himself about his music, he's always let rhymes do the talking whether it's been to destroy a rival like Ether or whether it's to be introspective about street life with albums like Illmatic. NASIR HAS BEEN THE SAME SINCE HE STARTED AT 18.
NOT ONCE has Nas embarrassed himself like an idiot and been arrested or spat tales and never admitted to it. He admitted his mafioso raps are to be taken as a concept on the Lost Tapes and unlike Pac who's music became more and more immature as his paranoia and drug use consumed him, Nas has found his lane and matured.
For every positive song Pac did, he destroyed his image. Nas has spat positivity and he's spat about that street life but never has Nas been a hypocrite.
Nasir for keeping it about Hip Hop for two decades.
