The Larry Brown quote about the pick up games at UCLA in the 80's against the Laker players is some powerful and telling shyt. Say what you want but this dude was unbelievable.
I've got one clip of him that didn't make it into the mix where he's 44 years old, so about the age/time of the Larry Brown story, still playing with the Globetrotters in an exhibition. Off a globetrotter backdoor routine he does his famous reverse jam with the ease someone would do with a softball and an 8 foot hoop. Game just looks so easy for him. The dimensions of the court and game equipment are all just too small for him.
Also, figures with my luck, but I just found two more baskets - from the 1962 Boston vs Warriors playoffs. And I found an interview where a guy says Wilt could palm a 16lb bowling ball and hold it straight out in front of him without using the finger holes. For reference I've seen Michael Jordan, also famous for his giant hands, attempt to palm a bowling ball on a Jay Leno segment, he couldn't palm it, let alone the extra step of holding it out in front of him.
