So out of nowhere today, I had a brain blast moment regarding how something COULD go down for WrestleMania. Please note that this is merely MY speculation and opinion, and nothing else. Also, it's long as shyt, so I'll provide cliff notes at the bottom. Here goes:
Now I don't know how it could be done, but in order to get to the scenario I'm hoping for, there would have to be some sort of unresolved finish at TLC between Cena and Orton, leaving both belts vacant. As a result, instead of another one on one match between Cena and Orton the next month, there would instead be a special component added to the Royal Rumble match: the winner would become the Unified Champion.
And who should win it? I say........
...............
...............
Prince Paul.
Now hear me out. I know what some of you brehs are saying: "Man, fukk that! We don't need to see the same ol', same ol' bullshyt with this fukker as world champ again, ESPECIALLY in the main event of a 'Mania!"
But guess what? That's what would make this great, and the payoff would be epic and memorable. I'm sure that by now, Triple H is well aware what a lot of smarks feel about him, his spot, and his politics over the years. And he's proven that he can be and is STILL great as a heel, so why not?
Imagine the amount of hateful heat this would get...
Now, since we live in a universe where you can't challenge yourself for the title should you win the Rumble as champion, we need ourselves a #1 contender. So how about we settle that problem.... inside the Elimination Chamber?
With there being emphasis on WWE having just one champion, there basically should just be one chamber match. So here's who I would have in that match:
and last, but certainly not least.......
In that match, not only would you set your #1 contender, but also possibly lay down some ground work for a WM match or two (Shield vs. Wyatts, MAYBE Punk vs. Orton)
Afterwards, Daniel Bryan would survive this physically grueling match, win, making him the #1 contender to HHH's title.
So, in my proposed scenario, we now have Triple H vs. Daniel Bryan for the Unified WWE Heavyweight Championship of the World, the despised and hated corporate COO against the beloved underdog fan favorite. To even make things more daunting for D-Bry, you could make it be where Hunter has some help in his corner (HBGOAT, perhaps?), and Bryan would be stipulated to have no one in his corner at all.
Finally, in the end, with some help by either a complete locker room revolt, an assist from CM Punk, or even a swerving Superkick from Shawn Michaels, Daniel Bryan at lasts regains the WWE Championship that was stolen from him numerous times, and he not only gets full revenge on the man who ruined his moment at SummerSlam that started this whole fukkery, but also solidifies his status as an "A+" player by doing it in the main event of the 30th edition of WrestleMania.
Also, you can close it out by doing a sorta combo/hybrid tribute to the endings of X and XX by having Punk congratulate Bryan personally (s/o to Chris and Eddie) and have the locker room, the babyfaces at least, hoist Bryan up on their shoulders in celebration (s/o to Bret). It would be a perfect way to end a momentous and monumental WrestleMania, and usher in a new era of sorts.
CLIFF NOTES (AKA TL;DR VERSION):
