But Romans were the ones who ended up promoting Christianity :leostare:

If it wasnt for them, Christians would have either stayed some weird cult or died off eventually

Learn history, the ones spreading Christianity were the Jewish Apostles and the Jewish believers. Romans took pagan rituals and brought that into Christianity and called it the Roman Catholic Church. If you hate the book and don't read it, you'll never know

That's exactly what I was referring to. I didn't say they created it. I was saying they took the concepts and popularized them while maintaining pagan beliefs. They played a big part in shaping a lot of the ideas of customs we still see in Christianity today. And you didn't even address the real point.

Tell me, do you think Christianity would be as big as it is today without Constantine converting to Christianity? And if so, how?

The Bible is a collection of history and a way of life as told by prophets inspired by God to write and give man His word.

It explains and details the nature of man, the good, the bad, the ugly and very accurately reflects the walking contradiction that is man.

So when you say that the Bible is full of contradictions, I say the Bible just highlights the contradiction that is man himself but in that contradiction is God’s perfect word and if we apply what he tells us in it, we become better in every way.

I've never seen "black folks" in real life hate the bible and God so much

1. It's not socially acceptable to discuss religion
2. It's not polite to disrespect someone's religion
3. People turn into zealots and want to argue with you like you didn't just read the same book.

That doesn't make their version right. The bible was written before the Roman catholic church came to be. The Apostles went to Africa, Asia and other places along with Rome. People moved to America to get away from the Roman Catholic Church. The Roman Catholic Church isn't even a thought in the bible. It's what it is, a b*stardized version of what's in the bible. The Pope's title is "Vicar of Christ" which goes against what the bible says.
