I just finished watching 12 years a slave.. Open my phone scrolling down YouTube see hbo game of thrones hip hop mixtape like hmmmmm
.. Then I read all the racist comments like

After a quick skim that wale beat is flames tho..and that arya track .. Call me a bitter rasict towards whites .. I don't give a fukk.like all this racism towards blacks drives me crazy. Game of thrones already has 99%white characters.which is already a problem like every other tv show .. Like why couldn't they change characters skin tone??? Like why not make every different major house a different race? Like make the ironborn Asians and make the north white make the south black make the wilding a native Indian the dothraki Indian .. Word it's garbage man ... It has potential to be something epic.. The beats were there just needed some star power .. IMO

Bad rappers over bad beats. It is blatantly obvious that most of them don't even watch the show, it is barely even referenced on some of these songs. Only one song actually has lyrics that fit the theme, "Arya's Prayer," but unfortunately the artist is wack. There is this chick rappin on one of these songs who sounds like Nicki Minaj and Eminem had a baby, just blatant swagger jacking. The whole "play a few seconds of GoT clips at the beginning of the song" thing gets old after about song 3 when you realize they are just randomly throwing clips in there that have nothing to do with the song. Common has some nice rhymes on it though.

In hindsight this shyt is 100x cornier than I initially thought. I could be wrong but seems like HBO was on some "well, people were complaining the show was racist last season, let's get some rappers to say they like it!".
