Since people don’t deal with crime to begin with, citing a numbers about crime being down doesn’t give them calm.

All the Copmala, Crime Bill Joe, Super Predator Hillary, comments basically made Dems afraid to support more policing as it would turn into backlash.

I do think she should’ve added context that it doesn’t matter what Dems did or didn’t do about crime because Trump would justify using national guards and federal troops to occupy cities. During the campaign he said Aurora Colorado was overrun by criminal immigrants and Springfield, Ohio Haitians were eating cats and dogs. He will create an exaggeration or lie and take any unnecessary action to address the issue because he’s a psychopath

The bold have nothing to do with leftist, in fact I'd argue most democrats even conservative ones don't wamr broad overreach of policing including black people. You dont need overreaching crime bills to fix drug programs
