I didn't say you was "my nicca", nicca - I was just callin' you nicca. lol

Why not?

It's females hiding what their natural nails look like, just like not having natural hair...
so how is one "self-hate" to you, but the other one isn't?
You are turning this into a whole different thing. Women normally paint their nails for beauty. However, maybe what Egyptians did was beauty back then. I just disagree with weaves. However, that's my personal belief.

It's not a "different thing" at all - it's the very same thing.

I can't believe it never occured to you that women do different things with their hair for the sake of beauty...
it's the exact same reason they do their nails, wax their hair off, or wear makeup.

Is this thread directed at pro natural hair Black men? Are we supposed to embrace wigs/weaves because the ancients wore them? I want to understand the aim and join the convo.

I won't speak for who you're quotin', but I want to ask a question.

Do you think it says anything about a woman (or man) when "for the sake of beauty" is constantly coverin' some part of her (him)?

I absolutely think it says something about a person who constantly covers a part of them for the sake of beauty.

Now, the question that come from that:

1. Are they truly "covering" it?
2. How often is "constantly"?
3. Just what exactly does the "covering" of that part "say"?

There's all kinds of levels to that.

I won't disagree with you their. However, if the hair was natural weave that would be an exception in my case. How I feel is natural hair has better and a lot more beautiful.

That's fair if that's what you prefer.

But what's not fair is to be on some "you must hate yourself because you don't do something with your self the way I like it".

1. Yes, they are covering. What else would it be?

2. More often than special occasions.

3. More than they would like to admit, that they are not happy or satisfied with what they're coverin'. But there are other reasons.

Agreed, definitely levels. But I think the majority of them are negative in nature.
