Went down to the local University to hoop and the girls team was out there. They was bragging and talking big shyt and we asked if we could play them. They could shoot, but other than that we completely dominated them. The boards, steals, 2 pointers. We was just too fast and strong for them.

Growing up, I thought the Professor could have played D1 ball.

i dont think he did. i'll have to ask him to make sure. but he has played pro/semi pro ball over seas. a lot of those old And 1 dudes who are now ballup guys have played d-1 ball and/or overseas pro ball.

most of those guys are much better than most of us thought they were. the dribbling and all that stuff is for show. they can actually play and they are super gym rats just like pro ballers. some were just to short to play in the pros. the more athletic ones for sure hit the d-1 spots. others had run is with the cops early on in life and that killed any chance they had at hooping at a real D-1 school or getting a pro look.
