response:Who is "they"?
Nobody from Death Row said they laid a finger on Eazy.
Fred.
ask doug young who they are. he worked at death row, so he was there. he wasn't some random guy. the stories are out there and he's told his share. point being, the whole thing is subjective/opinionated. eazy said he heard things. where are the actual first hand accounts of dre (the co owner) being in boot camp? where are the corroborating stories of dre being liable for punishments? after all these years, nothing? it appears the opposite is actually true. suge out of his own mouth said dre disciplined warren g in front of everybody. dre participated in that piss drinking incident at the death row xmas party. suge defended his guys (dre/snoop/etc) against certain people UNTIL THEY LEFT. so to me, it doesn't make sense and i just don't think it's facts. period. that's what the thread is about after all.
continuing the discourse:
at the end of the day, eazy didn't benefit nearly as much as people would like to think he did. you can view the dre thing as a loss because dre was signed to ruthless and then look at how much dre made for death row (and eazy only saw a fraction of that). another way to look at it is that eazy never should have been in that position in the first place. eazy and dre were supposed to be partners. dre knew jerry heller first. then eazy comes into the picture (as a joke/clown/mascot) then gets in bed with jerry and fukks his homies over. so in that sense, he won. but we all know he really lost in the end by how he went out (while simultaneously realizing that dre and cube was actually right about jerry). very poetic.
