Congratulations! You just showed everyone why no one would tune into the G League even if they knew the players there.
He may be one day, but no he's not currently. Nor does he appear to be on track to become that.ball is a quality 7th man off the bench
Lonzo doesn't even look like he caresWe seen Ingram go through this last year
He just needs to get stronger

Why they ether Ball like that??

The difference is there was tell tale signs of things you know Ingram would be able to do “IF...” yada yada yada. Basically seeds for improvement. There’s not a lot of feasible signs of improvement for Ball right now. He has never had a developed game outside of breakaway dunks and stepback Js. He wasn’t a good finisher then and basically can’t finish with a breath of contesting air going against him now. There’s not a spot on the court that you can point to and say he’ll feast there, even with more weight. At some point the issue stems from the fact he has no skill set. He’s a lot like a MCW in terms of scoring abilityWe seen Ingram go through this last year

I think Thabeet got sent to the d league but that was the year after he got drafted. No way you sending a #2 pick to the developmental league![]()

Analysis | Kyle Kuzma, not Lonzo Ball, is the future of the Lakers
Coli brehs already knew. Now the media picking up on it...
They calling to send Lonzo to the G League now![]()

real talk, bad publicity is better than no publicity. Best believe people are tuning into watch lonzo play, whether good or bad...Too much money at stake for that...
Alot of young players can't shoot but I'm really surprised at him missing layups and not getting to the line. The Lakers bought into the Lavar hype and made gave Lonzo the keys to the franchise and made him the center of their marketing and promo champagne.Even if he learns the game eventually and fixes that monstrosity of a jumper, is something like 14 ppg 7apg 6rpg with mediocre shooting percentages and average defense (and I'm being generous with his ceiling here) really worth the #2 pick in a stacked draft?

Here's a thought, treat him like an actual rookie. Bring him off the bench and earn his way up. Get his confidence up and try to ensure his success and if he still doesn't show promise then you start to worry about his future.
