I don't care how much time and commitment went into a project, it's still a bore.

A portrait of a mid-life crisis and the perverse pursuits of an average white man = poignancy and insight into the human condition. Only in Hollywood.

I couldn't. Witness is just so awful.
It's well made and all that but if you know nothing about the movie and you read what it is about and have to guess what kind of movie it is, there is only one answer; spoof.
I watched on TV with my friends 3-4 years ago, never heard of it before, and we couldn't stop laughing and no weed was involved. The consensus was that this movie was the low point of Fords career. When I looked it and saw it got 8 oscar noms and won 2 I've never been so shocked in terms of anything about movies.

Ain't Witness the movie where Ford goes undercover with the Amish or something? For some reason they play that movie on tv here like every six months but I never bothered to watch it. I might watch it of the strength of @StraxStrax disliking it so much.
Oh, and btw, I knew people would mention them (and they've already done so) but get out of here with Babe and Ghost. Those are genuine classics!

I never said I don't watch chick flicks breh. But I won't try and deny they are chick flicks. I like a lot of chick flicks actually. I'll watch any Audrey Hepburn movie any day of the week by my self.
