The fukk you think nikka? :dahell:

Kidd would average an near 20 assists with this Warriors team.

If he did average around 20 assists on this team - they'd probably have a REALLY shytty offense. Individual assists don't mean a damn thing if they don't put you in a position of winning. GS move the ball and move without the ball better than every team in the league - this is centered around Curry's scoring/shooting and ability to play off the ball - he's the reason why they have a top 5 offense. This team would fall apart if Kidd was the PG, because they wouldn't have a player that can score in any situation on high efficiency nor would their offense function the same because Kidd would stop the ball and they'd be easy pickings for a defense.

Those offenses that Kidd led were average to league-worst were that way for a reason.
I'm honestly surprised with your disagreement on this particular issue:ld:
What's their to be surprised about? The problem is you and others can't see that if you're dominating the ball, and you don't score at a high level your offense will suffer.

"If he began his career over the last few seasons he wouldn't be a top 5 PG in the league today because he wouldn't get away with dominating the ball in the fashion he did while putting up average scoring #s on horrific shooting percentages while orchestrating middle-of-the-pack offenses.

2001/02 Nets - 17th ranked offfense (Kidd averaged 37 minutes)
2002/03 Nets - 18th ranked offense (Kidd averaged 37 minutes)
2003/04 Nets - 25th ranked offense (Kidd averaged 36 minutes)
2004/05 Nets - 26th ranked offense (Kidd averaged 36 minutes)
2005/06 Nets - 25th ranked offense (Kidd averaged 37 minutes)
2006/07 Nets - 16th ranked offense (Kidd averaged 36 minutes)
2007/08 Nets - 25th ranked offense (Kidd averaged 36 minutes)

Every season he was in New Jersey dominating the ball, they had average to one of the worst offenses, season in season out - that's not the mark of a GREAT floor general - that's the mark of player whose suffocation on possessions and inability to be a reliable scorer and a threat as one (he averaged 14.4 points per game on 39.4% shooting during his seven-season stay in NJ) limited those Nets teams on what they could do offensively.

The success that team had was all down to their team defense and playing in the Eastern conference, during its weakest period

Chasing Korver around screens all game isn't easy :francis:

I have the Warriors with the edge, you on the other hand virtually give the Cavs no shot of winning.
I don't know what to predict for this series. LBJ's never lost back-to-back finals. But at the same time, he's not infallible in the NBA Finals. This isn't MJ coming into his 6th NBA Finals 5-0. We've seen LBJ play REALLY good in the Finals while his teammates played solid and win. We've seen him play REALLY good in the Finals and his teammates play horribly and lose. And we've seen him play EXTREMELY below average to poor in the Finals and his teammates play fairly well and lose. Having said that, it's not even about LBJ, it's about JR, Shump, Mosgov, Thompson, and Kyrie. But if LBJ stinks up the joint(which could come in the form of inefficient doubles-doubles/triple-doubles) it's on LBJ also.

I'm with him on this. I think this team is better than when he was on the Heat. Gotta look past Wade and Bosh status.
Dude lets look at the FACT that Bosh was playing out of position. He looked nowhere as dominant as he did in Toronto. Let's be honest that Wade wasn't as good as prior years not because of age, but because he was always injured or playing injured.

Also the depth off the bench is light years better in Cavs especially in three point shooting. This is coming from a dude that don't even like basketball like that. I'm from the Kemp and Payton days. King James is the only reason why I pay attention in the playoffs.

Gonna be Mavs 2011 all over again imo. Everyone knew the ball was going to Dirk and still couldn't do anything about it. I see the same with Curry.

Even with all the talk about match-ups, at the end of the day Golden State just gets hot and wins. They just have better shot makers. No matter what line-up either team runs, what kind of ball they play, Golden State just has the better ability to score and defend in all and any of those situations.

If Cleveland wants to slow it down, they still have to deal with the Warriors efficiency and that makes missed buckets more critical. Before long it could get out of hand and they'll have to pick up the pace and I only see the Warriors bombing on them even more at that point.
It's half the reason why they've managed to get away with inconsistent effort all throughout the regular season and the playoffs - it's all masked by their ability to score/defend for the entire 48 mins - no matter the opposition's lineup or pace of the game. It doesn't matter if it's four starters with one reserve or four reserves with one starter. They can come at you from every direction at any point during the game, and once they find a weak spot to exploit, they kill your hopes of winning within a few minutes.

But this GS team is better than the 2011 Mavs, and light years better than the 2012 Thunder, and better by a smaller margin than the 2013 Spurs, and the 2014 Spurs. This Cavs team might've been better than the 2011, 2012, and 2014 Miami Heat, but the 2013 Heat were something special. 27-game winning streak. Don't forget that.

its going to be interesting, we only have 2 games in the regular season to evaluate each team against each other but the cavs are a different team now. loves 3 point shooting really spread the floor against the warriors in the first game and created problems. obviously with tristan you dont have to worry about that but tristan is a better rim protector then love.
