Do you think you are sounding smart?

We're actually not talking!

Do you think you are sounding smart?

You don't understand how ratio factors into statistics when using large numbers among various groups who's population is different?

If its 12 dogs and 6 are pits bulls and 6 are others. If all of the others bite someone and two pits bite someone.

Does that mean that pits are more likely to bite than the other breads?

It's your job, not mine to prove the statistics I submitted are inaccurate, so instead of wasting your time writing a bunch of gibberish which doesn't solve anything, maybe you should actually substantiate & demonstrate your claims.

It always troubles me. Most people can't raise their own kids but will try to raise wild animals and expect them to be normal....

Exactly! A lot of these nikkas can't even control their own children or women they deal with but expect that they can 100% with certainty determine or control a dogs behaviors.

Seems like this is reoccurring theme but I mentioned before that one of housemates (her boyfriend's dog but we basically kept it) owned a red colby pit before and how he was affectionate and protective over children and the house. He was an inside dog too which was strange for me because I only had outside dogs as a kid. Buddy would bark and growl at guests unless we said they were cool. My parents were scared to visit at first then they loved him. Also would de-escalate domestic violence situations, like rising on his hind legs between my housemate and bae before they started to fight each other (which they did a lot) and separate them with his paws. Until then I was used to the ghetto pits tied outside with rope.

Them Lo Lifes...
Nope & neither are you!
Naw...I just know a couple :russ::ufdup:

Which again proves my point in regards to the failed theories you keep trying to promote. All the proper & specialized training in the world still won't prevent a less intelligent mammal like a dog from attacking & seriously harming or killing another animal or person.
All the proper training couldnt stop the police for shooting a unarmed man laying on the ground...thinking his GUN was a tazer..

Nor people who shoot up movie theatres..

Aren't THOSE BOTH unpredictable behaviours coming from humans that where educated and socialized

Pit bulls are my favorite breed of dog & if trained correctly they are amazing dogs, but I'm also not dense to overlook that they're still powerful animals who can/could potentially have unpredictable, aggressive behaviors or episodes which could prove fatal.

I've always had pits. I've never been bit or attacked, and other than chasing cats, my dogs never showed any real aggression.

Your first sentence lets me know all i need to know about you.
Im not arguing w/ you.:snoop: I can be swayed either way.:snoop:

Im asking you about stats you posted that i dont understand. And you attack me cause i questioned you about the most important numbers (ratios) when it comes to stats like you posted.

Usually someone who is defeated in an argument but is to bytch made to back down will omit stats such as those to prolong his bs argument.

Why even post stats if your mind cant be changed anyway?

Agreed. Small dogs have higher bite rates, but pits get the attention because they're powerful as hell.

Pits are also the only group of dog that is labeled by 20+ different breeds. Meaning, people just call damn near every dog with square jaws a pit, and in reality, most of them are not pits.

Just because you know a few animal behaviorist still doesn't legitimately make you one. :mjlol:

You keep proving the legitimacy of my statements! If you can admit that "educated", "socialized" human beings can't even control themselves or their actions. it shouldn't be too hard to understand & accept that a less intelligent mammal in certain cases wouldn't be able to either.

When I posted the data, it wasn't my goal to show pit bulls proclivity for causing harm, I just presented the information because I thought it was interesting.

Due to your lack of mental deficiencies, what you failed to grasp is that there was never a "argument" for or against pit bulls being presented in the first place. :pachaha:
