Meek poured jelly on himself by getting in his feelings cause Drake didn't tweet his album and choosing to showcase those feelings on Twitter

The summer was going well for him up until that point, breh wanted the deluxe Drizzy stimulus package, a feature AND a tweet :heh:

Also, Meek's first joint sold 165,000 in its first week and is over 400,000 right now also. Will go gold eventually. That was before the Nikki relationship.

Some of you sound like straight haters :pachaha:

Let them tell it tho.

But that's how you know that they're young and just regurgitating the rhetoric & don't know what they're talking about beyond that.

Album Sales mattered for different reasons back then. Everybody wasn't going on Tours. Your sales mattered until you feel off the charts or until your next Feature/Soundtrack/Album record.

But they wouldn't know that tho. They just say shyt becuz we told em the game but never told them Why. #feelme

He's gold. He was at over 490,000 as of a couple months ago.

Just curious, what's the source? The wikipedia entry you probably read links to a page that has a different number. He would have had to sell over 10k each week for the last 3 months

FYI: to my knowledge, RIAA stops keeping a "public account" on current Sales after a certain time frame. Records like "Life After Death" are probably somewhere around the sales of 15-18 Million U.S. (probably more). Ain't no tellin where records like "Thriller" are at, especially with all of those Re-Releases

Point is first weeks album sales is a more of a marketing gauge

Doubtful, Kanye's song "All Falls Down" which came out in 2004 on his debut album was recently certified platinum in April of this year.

I hear you but they're not. We still don't know who sold more, 2Pac or Eminem. All we have are hunches/educated guesses. No actual numbers tho. Ma and Pop's Shops included
