/threadHe sold a quarter mill first week and still ain't go Gold.
shyt like that is how I KNOW these labels be tryna boost first week sales by either buyin copies or trickin the numbers.
Dude hasn't even tried to change up his moves out here though. Thats the thing. This what I feared for Weak Will. People are going to dissect and recalculate every move he makes from now on.

Nope, check RIAA, only thing certified by Meek is Amen and Dreams&Nightmares single. He's gold. He was at over 490,000 as of a couple months ago.
Will he go gold eventually? Sure but it will be a while. Also, Meek's first joint sold 165,000 in its first week and is over 400,000 right now also. Will go gold eventually. That was before the Nikki relationship.
Some of you sound like straight haters![]()

Doubtful, Kanye's song "All Falls Down" which came out in 2004 on his debut album was recently certified platinum in April of this year.FYI: to my knowledge, RIAA stops keeping a "public account" on current Sales after a certain time frame. Records like "Life After Death" are probably somewhere around the sales of 15-18 Million U.S. (probably more). Ain't no tellin where records like "Thriller" are at, especially with all of those Re-Releases
Point is first weeks album sales is a more of a marketing gauge
