And why do New Yorkers start their story telling with “aight so boom”

Aren’t you in Montreal?
Don’t all your stories begin with inhaling a cigarette followed by 10 minutes of condescension?

:unimpressed:

They do all that extra shyt but New Yorkers I have met have always been hilarious story tellers.

It’s like all the antics add to the story. The elaborate slang and hand movements. They then half act out whatever story they are telling in a exaggerated way.

I always am :childplease: at the start of the story but by the end I am:mjlol:
Facts. I do this. Lol

Me too, I ain't even gon hold you, pause. :dame: :pachaha:
I tell people all of the time..

One of my biggest influences with respect to me becoming a trial Attorney was getting on the train coming from school and seeing two black people talking about a fight or crazy situation that they witnessed.

It is almost completely immersive having you on the edge of your seat!

That's amazing!

Related, I became a historian bc I was surrounded by mad hoteps and wanted to know the truth. It's beautiful how our early lives shape us.
