Oxnard wasn't trash per se, but he was trying to rap too much and it ended it up being underwhelming. There was still maybe 4 or 5 really good songs.

Good lookin out. I’ll give it a listen in a few

Oxnard ain't trash

The rappin through alot of people off ...and it was diff direction for alot of folks familiar with paaks previous material

On a quik skim I'm not sure the peaks of Ventura will top Oxnard...but this project def sounds like more a vibe and cohesive

shyt rides so far I'm fn wit it :stylin:pack bout to secure mo festival $$$ wit this 1 :mj:

Edit

His writing x pen on this seems better then Oxnard and less forced , and the production is :whew:

This the paak we know :krs:

After finishing, I concur.

First one was gloss, this one is that pure grit. :wow:

I always wanted to see eminem in the dirt without dre .....

the closest i found was this mash up album called marshall and the soul brother ....what makes it so good it was gritty and its petes throw aways

so jazzy ...:wow:

i love dirty sounding albums :obama:

and im far from a em fan ....his content is not my thing

Yeah, I think I can go ahead and call this his 3rd best album.

Better than Yes Lawd but right after Malibu.

Paak has said he was Dre's vessel on Oxnard. Some of the shyt sounded like Compton leftovers.

Ventura is all him.
if you listen to his old sh!t(Breezy Lovejoy days), its right along what Oxnard sounds like..

its crazy.. he switched up his style, only to go back to.. then, came right back around again.. :dead:

truth be told- The Free Nationals album gonna be the one to really be checking for.. :whoo:
